Refund Policy

Last updated: August 1, 2026

Cineriah, operated by Cineriah LLC, moves real money in four ways — credit packs, subscriptions, film tickets, and campaign pledges. This page says plainly when money comes back. Consumer law in your country may give you additional rights; nothing here reduces them.

1. Failed generations — automatic, always

Every generation reserves its credits before it runs. If a generation fails or gets stuck, the reserved credits are returned to your balance automatically — usually instantly, at most within about 15 minutes. You never pay for output you did not get. This is automatic; you do not need to ask.

2. Credit packs

If you bought a credit pack and have used none of its credits, you can request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase — email us from your account address. Once credits from a pack have been spent, the pack is partially consumed and is no longer refundable, except where required by law. Approved refunds may be subject to a service fee of up to 6% of the purchase price where permitted by law. Refunds return to the card you paid with; the corresponding credits are removed from your balance when the refund is issued.

3. Subscriptions

Cancel any time in your account settings — cancellation stops the next renewal, and you keep access and that month's credits until the period you paid for ends. We do not prorate partial months. Refunds apply only to your initial subscription purchase — within 7 days, provided the plan's credits are unused, and subject to a service fee of up to 6% where permitted by law. Renewal charges are not refundable, except where required by law; cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged.

4. Film tickets

A ticket is delivered when the film unlocks for viewing. Once you have watched the film, the purchase is final. If the film would not play, or it was removed before you could watch it, contact us within 7 days and we will refund the ticket.

5. Campaign pledges

Pledges are charged immediately and support a creative project in progress, so they are generally final. We will refund a pledge when: the campaign is removed for violating our Terms before its deadline; the creator cancels the campaign; or the law requires it. A film taking longer than hoped, or turning out differently than you imagined, is part of backing creative work and is not by itself grounds for a refund — though we take creator accountability seriously (see the Terms) and may facilitate refunds from remaining campaign funds when a creator abandons a project.

6. How refunds affect balances

When a payment is refunded or disputed, the credits or benefits it bought are removed from the account (never below zero), and any creator earnings connected to it are reversed or held out of payouts. Chargebacks filed with your bank are handled through Stripe's dispute process; filing a chargeback for a purchase you consumed may lead to account restriction.

7. How to ask

Email us from the address on your account with the purchase date and what happened. We review every request and answer within a few business days, and approved refunds are issued through Stripe to your original payment method (bank posting times vary, typically 5–10 business days).
